World of Learning Awards 2004

The search for the leading new learning initiatives and venues of 2004 has been launched as entries open for the World of Learning Awards 2004.

Now in their fifth year, the World of Learning Awards recognise and reward organisations and individuals whose exceptional achievements have significantly advanced workplace productivity and performance.

The Awards will be presented at a black-tie gala evening on 17 November 2004 at the NEC. Hosted by stand-up comedian and writer Sean Lock, the event features a champagne reception and dinner, with entertainment throughout the evening including dancing into the early hours.

The Awards recognise outstanding achievements in the following areas:

• Bespoke Solution of the Year
• Blended Solution of the Year
• Generic Solution of the Year
• Online Solution of the Year
• Instructor-led Solution of the Year
• Training Venue of the Year
• Outstanding Contribution to the Training Industry
• Learning Resource Centre Manager of the Year
• New Learner Award
• Training Provider of the Year

"The World of Learning Awards are the pre-eminent standard in the industry", said Lucy Chapman, Project Manager for the World of Learning Awards 2004. "This reputation has been achieved by rigorous independent judging over many years. To be short-listed as a finalist puts a solution, venue or individual in the top echelons of excellence in the training industry, and to be named as the winner, adds the impartial stamp of approval of the whole industry."
