Judging pannel announced for World of Learning Awards 2004

With only a month to go before entries close for the World of Learning Awards 2004, the organisers have revealed the panel of industry figures selected to judge the awards.

The judging panel comprises:

• Colin Buckley, ufi
• Gary Gilligan, SunMicrosystems
• Sarah Lindsell, PricewaterhouseCoopers
• Brian Merison, The British Learning Association
• Frank Nigriello, Unipart
• Jim Wilson, The British Learning Association

The World of Learning Awards recognise organisations and individuals whose achievements have significantly advanced workplace productivity and performance. The judging panel will assess the entries and select finalists in each of the following categories:

• Bespoke Solution of the Year
• Blended Solution of the Year
• Generic Solution of the Year
• Online Solution of the Year
• Instructor-Led Solution of the Year
• Training Venue of the Year
• Outstanding Contribution to the Training Industry
• Learning Resource Centre Manager of the Year
• New Learner Award

The Awards Gala and presentation will be held at the NEC, Birmingham on 17 November 2004, the first night of World of Learning 2004 conference and exhibition.

The closing date for entries is 10 September 2004.
