Home > News > August 2004 > 24-Aug-2004 WBT Systems wins first place at HR Technology Excellence AwardsWBT Systems has been awarded first place at the prestigious HR Technology Excellence Awards in the e-learning/Learning Management Systems (LMS) category. The awards, which honour best of breed technology for the HR industry, were handed out at a ceremony held at HRTech in San Francisco. Over seventy organisations from all over the world applied across five categories. This year's winners include PeopleSoft, LexisNexis and Unicru. This is the second major award for WBT Systems this year. In April, the company won the "ICT Company of the Year" Award. The company offers a suite of integrated solutions to enable the "Intelligent Enterprise" based on its TopClass e-Learning Suite. TopClass is used by over two million users in 600 organizations worldwide including Credit Suisse, Dow Chemical and Diageo. A panel of HR expert advisors and judges gave TopClass the highest overall score for:
