Home > News > October 2004 > 19-Oct-2004 Training drives Leger Holidays to successEuropean coach holiday provider Leger Holidays is celebrating this week after it received a Regional Training Award for driver tuition the honour recognises the firm for its outstanding effort in the field of workplace training. The company was presented with the award by Roger Black, MBE, at a ceremony in Sheffield earlier this week. The award comes as part of the National Training Awards, which are run by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills. Now in their 18th year, the awards are given to organisations and individuals who are judged to have achieved lasting excellence and success through training.
Tudor Williams, training manager for Leger Holidays, collected the award. He said: "Im absolutely thrilled and delighted that we have received this award. Leger Holidays has some of the most experienced and best trained drivers in the industry, and we work hard to ensure our high standards of excellence are maintained. "We believe the future of coach holidays lies in safety and expertise. By training our drivers to the highest possible standards, Leger Holidays ensures our customers have the best possible holiday. "When our holidaymakers travel with us they are safe in the knowledge that they have some of the best-trained drivers and crew on the roads."
