QA Instructor win BCS Trainer of the Year award
Olga Londer, Principal Technologist at QA, has won the British Computer Society (BCS) Trainer of the Year award at the annual BCS IT Professional awards held at the Hilton on Park Lane, London.
The BCS IT Professional awards celebrate outstanding performance in the IT industry. Olga, a Microsoft Most Valued Professional (MVP), conference speaker and author, was awarded Trainer of the Year in recognition of her technical leadership, teaching and mentoring skills and the additional value she provides to her delegates due to her vast industry experience.
Commenting on her award, Olga said: "I am delighted to receive such a prestigious honour. Training is about inspiring others to achieve through innovative learning experiences and it is an honour to have my work acknowledged by a high-profile industry body such as the BCS."
Brian Sutton, Chief Educator, QA, said of Olga's achievement: "This award recognises Olga's total command of her subject matter, an understanding which shines through in her classroom delivery. Not only is Olga respected throughout the industry for her technical expertise, but also, her ability to communicate her knowledge and enthusiasm for her subject area is second to none.
"QA training programmes benefit delegates who learn from the expertise of talented instructors like Olga who have an enviable combination of technical knowledge, industry participation and a brilliant ability to help others learn new skills".
As a Principal Technologist, Olga is responsible for teaching, consulting and technical leadership for QA's Internet curriculum. Olga has been instrumental in the design and delivery of QA's web development and infrastructure technologies training programmes over the past eight years. Olga also works directly with clients to assess their training requirements and identify appropriate learning plans.
