Home > News > November 2004 > 26-Nov-2004 BLA members win World of Learning AwardsMembers of the British Learning Association (the BLA) won two World of Learning Awards at the gala dinner held at the NEC in Birmingham last week. Awards were presented to Logicom Training Solutions for 'Bespoke Solution of the Year' for their work on CBT for British Gas Service Engineers, and to E-Skills UK for 'Online Solution of the Year' for their work on Computer Clubs for Girls. Eleven other members of the BLA were also short listed; AdVal, Barclays Bank, Bourne Training, Epic, KnowledegPool, NHSU, Saffron Interactive, SkillBoosters, TATA Interactive Systems, The MRS Consultancy and The Training Foundation. "We are absolutely delighted with the results, and the fact that so many of the organisations short listed for awards are members of the Association," said Brian Merison, General Manager of the BLA. "They have worked extremely hard to provide outstanding excellence and are a credit to the training industry"
