Sally Gunnell to attend Berkshire Apprenticeship Awards

Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell OBE is to attend the Berkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2006 ceremony which takes place in Reading on 23rd March.

Now in their third year, the awards are held by the Learning and Skills Council with the aim of showcasing outstanding apprentices and employers who are successfully using Apprenticeships to improve their business performance and tackle skills shortages.

Sally Gunnell said: "I'm really delighted to have been invited to take part in the Berkshire Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony. No matter which career you choose to embark upon, developing your skills will play an important part in reaching your true potential. I look forward to the evening and sharing the celebrations with all the finalists."

All applicants from the Berkshire Apprenticeship Awards will be automatically entered for assessment for the National Awards which takes place June 15th 2006 at the London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.
