CBI Human Capital Awards - nominations close Friday

The CBI has issued a final call for nominations to its Human Capital Awards. The deadline for entries is Friday 8 September 2006.

Susan Anderson, CBI firector of human resources policy, said: "These Awards will set the benchmark for excellence in getting the best out of people. If your company's success builds successful people, and vice versa, I urge you to get your entry in.

"We want to know about the best in innovative schemes and programmes that develop the most skilled and motivated of workforces. We want to hear stories of how personnel development and wealth creation go hand-in-hand. And we want to hear all this before Friday's deadline, or it will go unrecognised!"

The award categories are:

  • Education, Skills and Leadership
  • Innovative Ways of Working
  • Service
  • Managing change
  • Global Achievement
  • Growing Business
  • The People's Champion
  • The People's Organisation

The awards ceremony will take place on 19 October 2006.
