Nominations for the STAR Awards can come from any business or workplace in England.

There are 10 prize categories in 2007:

  • Outstanding contribution to engaging employers
  • Outstanding contribution to workforce development
  • Outstanding contribution in a support role
  • Outstanding contribution to learning support
  • Outstanding leadership

  • Outstanding contribution to the development of the further education system

Winners will receive a cash prize, trophy, certificate and opportunities for personal and professional development. The winners will be presented at an awards ceremony to be held in London later this year.

Nominations can be made online at http://staraward.qia.org.uk. The nomination period is open until 30 June 2007.
