Home > News > November 2007 > 14 November 2007 World of Learning Awards 2007The winners of the World of Learning Awards 2007 will be announced tonight at the NEC, Birmingham. Barclays, Linklaters, McDonald's Restaurants and the National Grid are among the organisations short-listed as finalists for the awards. Now in their seventh year, the World of Learning Awards aim to recognise and reward the leading new learning initiatives and venues of 2007 as well as individuals whose outstanding achievements have notably improved workplace productivity and performance. Jim Reilly, project manager for the World of Learning Awards, said: "I wish to congratulate all the organisations who are finalists this year. "The World of Learning Awards have become very prestigious and are now widely considered to be the supreme accolade in the training industry. The standard of entries has been remarkably high and the ceremony promises to be an evening not to be missed." The World of Learning Awards 2007 finalists include: Bespoke Solution of the Year

Generic Solution of the Year
Online Solution of the Year
Learning Innovation of the Year
Training Venue of the Year
Awards are also being made for 'Outstanding Contribution to the Training Industry'; 'Training Manager of the Year' and 'Training Provider of the Year'.
