Home > News > June 2009 > 04 June 2009 Global Knowledge receives Cisco's Global Learning Partner of the Year awardGlobal Knowledge announced today that it has received four Cisco Channel Partner awards for its performance in 2008, including the Global Learning Partner of the Year award. The awards were announced this week at Cisco's Worldwide Partner Summit in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to receiving the Global Learning Partner of the Year award, Global Knowledge Europe and United States/Canada each won theatre awards for Excellence in Collaboration, while Global Knowledge MEA garnered the Excellence in Acceleration award. "We are tremendously proud and honoured to be recognised as Cisco's premier learning partner," said Brian K. Branson, chief executive officer and president of Global Knowledge. "These awards reflect our commitment to providing exceptional worldwide training solutions to Cisco's channels and customers." Global Knowledge's affiliated partner in Singapore - Global Knowledge-Asia/Pac - received theatre awards for Excellence in Collaboration and Excellence in Innovation. The company's affiliate partner in Japan, Global Knowledge Japan, won the Learning Partner of the Year theatre award. Cisco's annual performance awards are categorised in three levels: global, theatre (including APAC, Emerging Markets, Europe, Japan, and US/Canada), and geographical regions.
