Priory will offer a blended learning and development programme for all new joiners, with higher levels for refresher training and Continuing Professional Development for existing staff. Priory’s Foundations for Growth programme combines bespoke and generic e-learning materials allied with classroom training and coaching, and is designed to meet the needs of new staff across Priory’s sites throughout the UK. Information Transfer is developing the core online components of the system, including e-learning modules and bespoke learning management technology. According to Information Transfer, a key feature of the programme is its ability to deliver tailored training to staff in different roles, at different sites, and with very different levels of IT literacy. Following a pilot project at seven Priory hospitals and schools, development of the full Foundations for Growth programme is now under way. Alison Innes-Farquhar, Priory Group Director of Learning & Development, said: "We are thrilled with how Information Transfer have interpreted our brief and developed this programme, which will inform and track each user’s individual Learning and Development Plan throughout their employment with Priory. It is unique in its bespoke design and delivery."
