Home > News > June 2004 > 08-Jun-2004 IDM to run summer graduate programmeThe Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) yesterday released details of its inaugural Graduate Fast Track. The programme features presentations from some of the UK's leading brands and agencies and is sponsored by MBNA, Time Life, first direct, EHS Brann and Tullo Marshall Warren. The 30 graduates taking part were selected following an intensive application process that involved a series of written tests, interviews and presentations. In all 204 students, from 75 of the UK's 104 universities applied for the IDM Graduate Fast Track coming from a range of academic disciplines including Marketing and Business studies, Biochemistry, Art History and Linguistics. The one-week intensive programme includes presentations by:
The IDM Graduate Fast Track, which runs from 28 June to 2 July 2004, incorporates a case study from a leading brand. It also includes a visit to agency Tullo Marshall Warren and concludes with presentations by the students to representatives of the sponsoring organisations.
