Agency launches new staff training programme

Branding agency, ArthurSteenAdamsom (ASA), has unveiled a new staff training programme.

Called Nimbus, the new programme trains groups of staff in the art of photography. The course is designed to not only teach a new skill and act as a team building exercise, but also to encourage participants to become active brand ambassadors.

"By setting briefs during the course which are aligned with corporate strategy, participants have the chance to really get under the skin of their companies’ brand values whilst at the same time learning a valuable new skill", said ASA partner, Marksteen Adamson.

"By the end of the course participants produce a library of high quality shots and these can be added to corporate image banks and used across marketing collateral. We also encourage companies to consider wider leverage of the images such as PR campaigns and internal or external exhibitions of the work."

The Nimbus course is designed to run across lunch breaks or as an away weekend and combines both theory and practical lessons. Participants learn about film, different styles of photography and how to make the most of natural light. They are also given insights into the different types of equipment available and their uses in different styles of photography.

"The integration between training and marketing makes the Nimbus programme quite unique. Photography is a skill most employees welcome the opportunity to learn more about so the course provides genuine benefit for both employers and employees,"concluded Adamson.
