The video, called 'It's Personal', is designed for anyone in face-to-face or telephone contact with customers. According to Supernova, the key learning points include: having the right attitude, communicating positively, taking responsibility, and learning from experience. The video comes with a user guide featuring training notes and resources. There are two other supporting videos in the programme. In 'It’s Personal – for the organisation too' Rick Stein and managers from public and private sector organisations discuss some of the key issues involved in managing customer service successfully; while 'It’s Personal – but don’t take it personally!' gives pointers for dealing with difficult customers Supernova collaborated previously with Rick Stein on Recipe for Success, a training video about managing and motivating people.
