Home > News > May 2005 > 05-May-2005 Blanchard to deliver team talk at Claridge'sDr Ken Blanchard, co-author of The One Minute Manager, has accepted an invitation from Michael Hoffmann, General Manager of Claridge's, to address key members of Claridge's staff. Claridge's extended their invitation to Dr Blanchard in recognition of his success in pushing customer service to the heart of the business agenda. Michael Hoffmann said: "Claridge's is known for delivering exceptional service, a process which involves each member of our team. Our people drive our business and we are committed to putting our people first. "Dr Blanchard is an expert in his field and I am delighted that Claridge's team will be able to take advantage of his enormous experience and expertise. Customer service is an area in which we already excel but the team at Claridge's is absolutely committed to constant improvement - there is always more that we can learn." While speaking with the Claridge's team, Dr Blanchard will highlight his views on the importance of flexible, supportive leadership that empowers frontline staff, as well as his long-held belief that organisations need to 'wow' their customers if they are to ensure continued success. Dr Blanchard, founder and chief executive of The Ken Blanchard Companies, is in London to make the opening keynote speech at The European Conference on Customer Management at the QEII Conference Centre on May 17th and to promote his new book, Customer Mania!
