PRINCE2 exam success for Atos Origin staff

IT services organisation Atos Origin has implemented a PRINCE2 project management training programme for over 130 IT staff from its systems integration and managed operations divisions.

The PRINCE2 training programme was delivered by Xpertise and according to their commercial director, Bill Walker, Atos Origin's exam success rate was far higher than average.

"PRINCE2 examinations are notoriously tough - you can't just 'wing it' and pass," said Walker. “You really need good training, to apply yourself and to have learnt the PRINCE2 methodology thoroughly."

Atos Origin’s IT staff achieved a pass rate for PRINCE2 practitioners of nearly 90% and gained a 100% pass rate for the PRINCE2 foundation examinations. Marie-Pierre Gouaux, Learning & Development Manager at Atos Origin, said the results were exceptional and a real credit to all of those who undertook the training.

Gouaux added: "With today's information technology, you can't sit on your hands. You have to keep pushing forward, developing skills and keeping yourself at the leading edge. It's the only way to remain successful. Raising the bar in terms of project management skills not only adds to our abilities but also to our professional credibility."
