IDM offers digital marketing qualifications via online study

From October the recently launched Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) Diploma in Digital Marketing and the IDM Certificate in Digital Marketing will be available for online study – in addition to existing classroom study options.

Neil Morris, the IDM’s deputy managing director, said: "These new digital marketing qualifications are the first in the UK to address the growing skills shortage in digital marketing. Digital marketing is the future and all marketers need to be equipped with the necessary skills and techniques.

"For the time-pressured modern marketer, online study is the perfect option and one the IDM is embracing as a major delivery channel for its educational programmes".

In addition to online courseware with built-in self-assessment tests, the IDM says students will have access to support from a personal tutor, who is an experienced and practising digital marketer, and discussion forums to enable ideas and experiences to be shared with fellow students.
