The event, 'ROI - Stop Measuring, Start Talking' will be presented by Kate Charlton, lead author of the research and held at the Swallow St George Hotel (Nidderdale Suite), Harrogate on Thursday 27 October, 6.30pm. The published research, 'Executive Education: Evaluating the Return on Investment - Bringing the Client Voice into the Debate', carried out on behalf of UNICON (International University Consortium for Executive Education) explores business school users' attitudes to evaluating return on investment within executive education. The research was conducted amongst HR professionals and development programme sponsors (CEOs, managing directors). Ashridge says it addresses a number of areas within a topic that has become something of a 'holy grail' to many within HR and wider business:
Lead author Kate Charlton said: "Previous research on evaluation has been very academic. We wanted to know what HR professionals and those who ultimately sign the cheques for development - MDs and CEOs -actually think. "The CIPD Conference provides a wonderful opportunity to share our findings and prompt discussion on what ROI really means in the context of executive development." Ashridge will be at Stand B8 (Hall B) at the CIPD Exhibition in Harrogate from 26 - 28 October
