Home > News > January 2006 > 10-Jan-2006 Association for Coaching appoints new council memberWhen the Association for Coaching were looking for a new council member to volunteer as Head of Professional Forums, Jacqui Mann, managing director of J Mann Associates put her name forward - and was elected. As part of her role, Mann will co-ordinate an events diary for continuing professional development and for professional coaches to share knowledge, connect, and learn the latest techniques. Mann said: "I'm passionate about what I do and being able to share new ideas, methods and tools with fellow coaches and managers of teams of people is in line with my coaching philosophy. "I also enjoy organising events, so using these skills to bring together expert speakers from all over the country to present to my industry, keeping us all well informed and aware of current thinking and trends will be my pleasure." Spokesperson and the Association for Coaching's head of strategic relations, Darren Robson, said: "The announcement of Jacqui Mann's appointment to the Association for Coaching's Council as the Head of Professional Forums represents a further enhancement to our growing team's strength. "The AC prides itself on delivering services to the coaching community that adds real value to our members and interested parties. Jacqui's appointment is integral to enable our capability to deliver UK wide. "
