Association for Coaching Scotland launches seminar series

The Association for Coaching (AC) in Scotland is holding a seminar entitled 'Pioneering Corporate Coaching in Scotland' on 21st November 2007 in Glasgow.

The event is the first in AC Scotland's seminar series - 'Catalysing Coaching across Scottish Organisations'.

The AC Scotland has announced five speakers for the launch event: Liz MaCann - BBC; Frank Bowles - BT; Paul Barker - LogicaCMG; Alice Hurley - LogicaCMG; and Peter Jackson - Association for Coaching.

Frank Bowles said: "Within the corporate environment there is little doubt that executive coaching brings a lot of good - either using formal return on investment measures or simple acclaim. Yet corporate (in-house) coaching often feels unloved, struggling to justify its existence.

"Organisations with a Corporate Coaching capability have a fantastic asset they could capitalise on and must bring to the business mainstream"

This day-long event will take place on Wednesday 21st November at the BT Alexander Bain House auditorium, York Street, Glasgow G2 8LA from 09:30-15:45.

The AC Scotland says the event is aimed at in-house coaches, HR professionals as well as all line managers with a coaching and leadership development responsibility for their teams.
