Association for Coaching launches awards scheme

The Association for Coaching has launched a new international award scheme that aims to recognise significant achievement and best practice by businesses and individuals within the coaching profession.

The AC Awards is open to anyone with an interest in coaching, both in the UK and abroad, and comprises two categories, the Business Award and the Student Award.

The Business Award is aimed at individuals or companies, who can demonstrate exceptional sustainable performance improvement through the delivery of a specific coaching project. The winner of this award will receive £500.

The Student Award is open to individuals involved in research and will go to the person who best demonstrates a thorough understanding and analysis of the impact of their research within the coaching profession. The winner of this award will receive a cash prize of £250.

Submissions should be a maximum of 1500 words and returned to the Association for Coaching by 30th November 2008.
