The facility is available throughout its 58 branch network and Head Office departments. The new system, provided by e2train, is designed to complement the Society's existing classroom training programme by providing the training of new initiatives within a short time frame across a large area. The success of the e-learning will be measured on a continual basis with the results being updated and evaluated through many different areas including staff retention and career progression. Training & development advisor, Julie Chilvers, said "The new system helps us to provide all members of staff with a consistent approach to training. The e-learning tool can be accessed by anyone from their desk. It means that staff in the branches do not have to be away from the office for a full day. It provides a cost-effective, modern and speedy solution to our training challenges."
