Guidance on e-learning distributed

A programme of guidance on e-learning, inspection and quality issues in post-16 education and training is to be distributed to colleges, local learning and skills councils and main providers of adult and community learning this week.

Demonstrating Transformation is a new interactive resource which has been developed by Becta's Ferl service: a post-16 ICT and e-learning information service funded by the National Learning Network, in conjunction with the Learning and Skills Development Agency (LSDA).

With advice from inspectors on the effective deployment of learning technologies, this newly developed resource is designed to help institutions preparing for internal self-assessment and for inspection by external agencies.

The three regional launch events will be held throughout March to accompany the release of the programme: in London (5th), Birmingham (16th) and Manchester (29th).
