Neil Morris, the IDM's deputy managing director, said: "There's an acute shortage of people with modern direct, data and digital marketing skills. That is why IDM qualifications are sought by employers and highly prized by career-minded individuals. "It is important for the overall health of 'UK plc' that, in today's fast-moving business world, we give as many people as possible to opportunity to learn the techniques of direct, data and digital marketing - and that means making these available via e-learning materials as well as via more traditional methods of tuition. "In that way, we are catering for a wider range of learning preferences among students as well as making these vital practices and techniques available to a much wider audience. "We are delighted that Trainer1, with its many years of e-learning development expertise and impressive and prestigious list of current clients, is helping us to develop these new learning materials."
