"Every boss knows that equality and diversity are important,” said Martin Addison, Director of Video Arts. "Many, however, need help in translating the general concept into their everyday business and separating it from government enforcements. "Our programme can help them do that by showing how diversity can bring business success by being integrated into everyday practice from developing company ideals to educating employees, working with stakeholders and communicating with customers." According to Video Arts, the programme will show businesses why diversity matters and how they can make it work for them by drawing practical links between diversity and core business skills of quality, personal development, communication, teamwork and supportive procedures and processes. "Putting in place a diversity strategy will take commitment, involvement and enthusiasm but achieving success can transform an organisation not only ethically and culturally but also financially," concluded Addison. The programme is available on DVD and VHS, and the CD-ROM version will be available in September 2005. It comes with a self-study guide, trainer's resources and group workbook.
