Trainer1 launches reaKt

e-Learning company Trainer1 has launched the Response Environment for Active Knowledge Transfer (reaKt) - a tool designed to deliver learning materials to end users at the moment they’re needed.

According to Trainer1, reaKt is designed to work with non-IT programmes - such as influencing skills and interview techniques - and complements the company’s Context Sensitive Learning (CSL) product that delivers IT-related e-learning to end users on demand.

Trainer1's managing director, Neil Lasher, commented: "Increasingly, organisations - and individuals - want immediate access to the right learning materials to meet their need. They don't want to enter into long or full courses when all they need is a small learning byte to meet their current need.

"That's where tools such as reaKt and CSL are so valuable in both an organisational and individual development context.

"The threefold concept behind reaKt and CSL is that they provide immediate learning, intelligent learning and direct delivery of that learning. This means that they meet the need for what are now being termed 'workflow learning' tools.

"These products integrate learning into workflow without detracting from the work itself. This means that they keep the cost of training/learning to a minimum and, at the same time, maximise the output from the learning."
