e-Learning programme wins gold

The scenario driven e-learning programme that Brightwave created for leisure travel company First Choice was awarded Gold in the custom content category at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards ceremony held last week.

"The programme is innovative in that it mixes soft skill customer service and sales training with transactional system training, following typical work routines during a day at the foreign exchange bureau," said Charles Gould, Managing Director for Brightwave. "It has been very well received by the target audience and we are delighted that it has now been internationally recognised as a leading example of effective e-learning."

The Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards were presented by Brandon Hall Research. A total of 46 gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to winners in the categories of custom content, innovative technology, and outstanding case studies.

"The winning entries this year show a great combination of creativity and practical results. The winners are excellent both in terms of innovation and impact on the business," said Brandon Hall, Ph.D., CEO of Brandon Hall Research and chairman of the awards programme. "These winners show us what the future of learning looks like."
