Jonathan Noall, senior training and development manager for the National Trust said "e-Learning is an extremely good option for us, as it removes the need for new staff or their trainers to travel large distances because the e learning course will be available remotely at all our sites. "This will give the organisation a much more flexible and cost-effective way to deliver our core induction content, as part of a mixture of learning approaches delivered at a local level." The National Trust awarded the course production contract to training provider AdVal following a competitive tendering exercise. The 90-minute course will feature video interviews with staff at a range of National Trust properties, designed to give learners an insight into how different individuals contribute to the Trust, as well as information about the Trust's history, operation and organisation.
