The course, designed by Brightwave, is designed to raise awareness of the organisation amongst new starters as well as track important compliance issues. The programme, which went live this month, has been implemented to ensure that all new starters are aware of the Group's portfolio of newspapers and on-line brands. It is also envisaged that newcomers will now integrate quicker into their role as well as gain an enhanced appreciation of the organisation's culture, policies, benefits and career opportunities. Steve Tinniswood, head of learning and development at Trinity Mirror said: "Due to our ever changing portfolio, we wanted a solution that pulled on all the strengths from our existing processes in order to implement a successful group programme reflecting the multimedia nature of our business. "It is important to us that we help all new joiners understand their roles and how they fit into the whole organisation, not just their individual business." The course has been rolled out using Brightwave's hosted learning management service, Launch and Track. The platform, customised for Trinity Mirror, manages access for new joiners and provides an induction path for them to work through as they progress from pre-joiner to day one and beyond.
