World of Learning 2004 Conference and Exhibition

17 & 18 November 2004
NEC, Birmingham

Now in its thirteenth year, the World of Learning 2004 conference and exhibition will be taking place at the NEC, Birmingham on 17th & 18th November. Aimed at training, personnel and HR professionals, this years event will include:

  • A conference programme featuring leading international speakers and innovative profile case studies
  • Free interactive workshops, product demonstrations and an advice clinic
  • Over 80 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and solutions
  • The World of Learning Awards 2004 gala evening, hosted by comedian Sean Lock

The organisers forecast that over 3,000 visitors will attend the event, which highlights a wide range of training solutions from instructor-led training, blended solutions, training venues and distance learning to e-learning, management development, training software and HR/training management systems.

The programme of experimental workshops and product demonstrations provide visitors with the opportunity to see, hear and sample the latest training solutions with presentations including Hyperwave, Mary Gober International and ebc.

Organisations already confirmed to take part in the event include Ashridge, Balance Learning, BBC Learning, British Computer Society, Computeach, Edexcel, EMTA Awards, Hay Group, Hilton Hotels and Mary Gober International.

A principle feature of the event is the conference, which focuses on the key strategic issues facing training professionals, as well as the practicalities of implementing integrated solutions, with a wide range of case studies to demonstrate ideas in practice.

In addition, the World of Learning Awards, which reward and recognise the highest standards of achievement within the training industry, will be presented during a black-tie gala evening on 17 November 2004 hosted by comedian Sean Lock.
