New conference format for Learning Technologies 2005

Now in its sixth year, the Learning Technologies exhibition and conference will take place at Olympia in London on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th January 2005.

In a change from previous years, the Learning Technologies 2005 conference will feature three session types, each lasting for one hour:

  • Plenary sessions - one speaker addressing the entire conference
  • Main sessions - one topic but with two speaker presentations
  • Master classes - interactive sessions for smaller groups

The two-day conference divides into four themes:

  • Tomorrow's Trends
  • Effective Learning and Development
  • Setting Strategy and Adding Value
  • Enabling Technologies

Each theme consists of one plenary session, two main sessions and two master classes. The Learning Technologies 2005 conference programme will be available from November 2004.

According to the organisers Principal Media, Learning Technologies 2005 will feature over 100 exhibitors with 3,000 people expected to visit. The show will cover many aspects of organisational learning and learning technology including:

  • Content Authoring
  • e-Learning Products and Services
  • e-Learning Strategy, Technology and Implementation
  • Instructor-led Solutions
  • Knowledge Systems
  • Learning Content
  • Learning Management and Methodologies

  • Organisational Learning Strategy
  • Training Centre Resources
  • Virtual Classroom Technologies
