Sanako was awarded "Best New Education Solution" for its virtual classroom solution by the Software and Information Industry Association (SIFA) at the 19th Annual CODIE Awards in May 2004 in San Francisco. Developed in conjunction with California State University, Sanako's virtual classroom utilises the internet and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology to facilitate live training sessions with participants in different geographical locations. Live voice interaction is complemented by a range of collaboration tools including six break-out groups, web presentations, document sharing, polling and interactive boards, all of which offer the trainer opportunities for a number of varied learning interventions. Throughout Learning Technologies 2005, Sanako will be giving demonstrations of the virtual classroom, in many cases with international participants. In addition Sanako will also be showing its Application & Activity Control software for networked Training Rooms, Study 100. Visitors to Learning Technologies (January 26th and 27th at Olympia 2, London), will find Sanako at stand 115.
