Training Foundation hosts free open day

The Training Foundation is hosting its next open day in Coventry on Tuesday 26th July 2005.

Nick Mitchell, Chief Executive of The Training Foundation, will open the event and unveil Faster Induction Training (FIT), a new employment risk reduction programme for new employees and managers. This customisable on-line induction programme covers eleven workplace issues including those carrying legislative implications for employers.

Also at the event...

* Les Hobbs, Director of Learning Solutions for The Training Foundation, will demonstrate the Acce-Lerator on-line learning object authoring tool.

* Training Consultant Louise Knott will provide an overview of the Certified e-Learning Professional Programme (CeLP), its background and aims.

* Clive Shepherd, Director of e-Learning for The Training Foundation, will deliver a presentation entitled “Rethinking e-learning” in which he challenges what he sees as popular myths about e-learning.

* Training Consultant Mac MacDonald will present an overview of the six certifications within the Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP).

During the lunch break, delegates will have the opportunity to try out a range of online learning resources. The event runs from 10.00am to 3.00pm on Tuesday 26th July and entry is free.
