Home > News > January 2006 > 17-Jan-2006 Proskills to hold events for glass industryProskills, the Sector Skills Council for the glass and glazing industries, is holding three, free of charge, glass industry launch workshops for training and HR staff within the industry. The events, held in partnership with the Glass and Glazing Federation, British Glass and the Learning and Skills Council, will look at current and future employment law; best practice in leadership skills; the new HR model; and glass industry apprenticeships. The workshops are being held in Birmingham (16 February), Knaresborough (7 March) and Watford (9 March) and are supported by ACAS, local funding organisations and unions in the glass industry.
