Learning Technologies 2007

The Learning Technologies 2007 conference and exhibition will take place at London Olympia on Wednesday 31st January and Thursday 1st February 2007.

Donald Taylor is Learning Technologies 2007's conference chairperson. Announcing this year's conference theme of 'Learning for organisational performance', Taylor said: "Never before has the human factor been so important, in every sector and in every industry, it is people that make the difference.

"Only by developing and deploying people effectively can organizations be sure there are at their best.

"More tools than ever now underpin learning and workforce productivity, and more than ever is being demanded of learning and development professionals. It's a great time to be here - but it's also the toughest."

"The Learning Technologies' conference brings together the learning industry's experts to challenge conventional thinking and debate the best ways forward. And the Learning Technologies Exhibition running alongside the conference, with over 120 exhibitors, allows learning professionals to meet the suppliers and speak to the companies currently influencing the way we learn and develop corporate skills."

Learning Technologies 2007, now in its eighth year, is part of Learning and Skills Week, an initiative that aims to increase performance at work by improving organisational learning and development.

Learning and Skills Week comprises a series of events, research, webinars, communities of practice and networking opportunities all designed to make organisations improve performance through personal development.
