The conference, which runs alongside the Learning Technologies exhibition, is now in its eighth year and takes place on 31 January 2007 and 1 February 2007. Conference chair Donald H Taylor said: "Investment in personal and organisational development is now rightly recognised as a vital pillar of business success. The result: rapid change as learning organisations strive to deliver the best learning experiences and services, aligned to business objectives. "With this in mind, the 2007 conference theme is 'Learning for organisational performance' and will focus on the technologies and methods available to both organisations and individuals to maximise performance at work through learning and development. "The conference will address all the key issues facing learning professionals today and there will be a mixture of session types from keynote addresses to interactive track sessions, from case studies to theory presentations, all from 40 of the leading industry figures and experts," added Taylor. "Organisational learning continues to change at a pace and Learning Technologies 2007 aims to keep learning professionals ahead in the industry and well informed about what's hot and what's not. If you're involved in managing learning, staff development and improving workplace performance, then we promise a riveting two days. "To support the conference there will also be discussion groups, podcasts, RSS feeds, learning communities, forums and structured networking in the lead up to, during and following the event itself, and Learning Technologies will prove invaluable to all those involved in organisational learning and performance improvement."
