Enterprise social networking in learning and talent management

The Learning Technologies exhibition, running later this month, is to include a seminar on enterprise social networking in learning and talent management from exhibiting company Cornerstone OnDemand.

The 30-minute seminar titled 'The critical role of enterprise social networking in successful learning and talent management strategies' is taking place in Theatre Four on the exhibition floor, at 15:30 on day 2 of the Learning Technologies event, Thursday 29 January.

The seminar is being presented by James Wilson, UK manager of Cornerstone OnDemand. He said: "Integrated Talent Management now must account for the new challenges facing the modern organisation and the numerous ways that its employees interact, learn and work. In today's turbulent work environment, smart organisations need to actively engage, train, develop and retain their best people.

"By rethinking the way we approach learning & talent management and integrating Web 2.0 capabilities such as communities and wikis into our overall solution, our clients are better positioned to succeed when dealing with modern workforce challenges."

Each of the 56 exhibition seminars is free to attend and while advance booking isn't required, the organisers recommend that visitors arrive early to be sure of a seat.

The Learning Technologies Exhibition and Conference, returning in its tenth year, is on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 January 2009 at Olympia 2 in London.
