World of Learning Conference & Exhibition 2010

Now in its 18th year, the World of Learning Conference & Exhibition will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 September 2010.

The organisers say the conference will tackle the issues of key concern to L&D professionals, from employee engagement, change management and management and leadership development to enhancing business performance, informal learning, coaching and proving the benefit of learning activities. Speakers will be announced over the coming months.

Running alongside the conference, the exhibition is expected to feature companies from a variety of sectors of the learning and development industry, from e-learning and HR and learning management solutions, to social media and instructor-led training.

Additional features within the exhibition include the free seminar programme, interactive workshops, Experiential Learning Zone, the L&D Advice Clinic, skill workshops, product demonstrations, Workplace Wellness Zone and the Networking Café.

Andrew Gee, senior project manager for the World of Learning, said: "This is a critical time for L&D professionals; the recession has driven all organisations to analyse every aspect of spend and performance, which is having a radical impact on the activities of L&D and HR.

"The World of Learning Conference & Exhibition reflects the current state and future direction of the industry and is therefore an essential date in the diary for all those involved in developing their staff.

"A visit to the event will enable them to ensure they're at the forefront of market developments, utilising the latest methods and working with the most cost-effective solutions available."
