The organisational learning event is taking place at London Olympia next Wednesday and Thursday, January 25 and 26 and over 5,000 L&D professionals are expected to attend. The event comprises two exhibitions and a conference: the Learning and Skills Exhibition, the Learning Technologies Exhibition, and the Learning Technologies Conference. The Learning and Skills Exhibition showcases a wide range of methods, products and services for workplace learning with a focus on people development, learning and performance, learning resources and HR systems and services. The exhibition is built around a multi-streamed programme of free seminars in four theatres on the exhibition floor. The Learning Technologies Exhibition covers the technology used in organisational learning and development and features a free seminar programme running in five theatres in the exhibition hall. The Learning Technologies conference, running alongside the exhibition has sessions on learning technology, strategy and will be debating a range of important issues in L&D today. "The theme running across the conference this year is impact," said Conference Chair, Donald H Taylor. "In other words, how can we be sure that what we do in L&D has an impact on individuals and on the business, and how can we demonstrate that fact. "We've assembled an impressive selection of speakers - many of the world's foremost L&D visionaries and practitioners - who will share their insights and their experiences." Commenting on the two exhibitions, event organiser Mark Penton said: "There's over 200 organisations demonstrating what they have to offer. It's an unparalleled opportunity in the learning industry, to get to see so many learning providers in one place and we are very grateful, again this year, to all our sponsors and exhibitors who help to make the show possible. "The 2012 event will be the largest in our 13 year history. Over 5,000 are expected to visit the combined shows with over 450 attending the conference. The exhibitions are also operating a programme of free-to-attend seminars across total of nine seminar theatres running throughout both days for visitors to choose from."
