New appointments at fuel Group

Five new appointments at fuel Group, one of Europe's leading e-learning developers, have strengthened its business development, project management and marketing teams as the company continues to expand.

Within project management, Richard Veal and David Blagden have been appointed. Richard was formerly a project manager at Aframe in Australia, a technology and services company specialising in online assessment solutions, while David most recently worked in project management and team leadership at Reuters.

Travis Reid and Justin Gumbs have joined fuel as new business managers. Travis was formerly a new business manager at the Office of the e-Envoy where he led the development and delivery of e-government services such as the Government Gateway and www.ukonline.gov.uk. Justin was most recently a sales executive at PinkRoccade selling its full range of technical, soft and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) based training courses.

fuel's marketing department has also undergone expansion with the appointment of Nicki Wackett as marketing communications executive. Nicki will be responsible for the online marketing strategy, overseeing PR, events, the marketing database strategy, as well as a variety of direct mail and email campaigns.

Steve Dineen, Chief Executive, fuel said, "These new appointments follow another successful year for fuel, including the acquisition of Wide Learning, and will ensure that the company continues to grow and move forward in developing and implementing exciting and innovative e-learning solutions."
