Show racism the red card was established in 1996 with the view to combat the problem of racism in football. The aim was to harness the high profiles of professional footballers and managers to help target young people and change attitudes. The expedition lasted 10 days with an average trek of 7 hours a day at high altitude to the Everest base camp - approximately 18,000ft above sea level. "It was an absolutely incredible experience", said Daniel. AdVal Programme Director, Peter Bonfield said: "We are very proud of our relationship with RBS and, as many employees at Adval are keen, if not recently disappointed, football fans, we were delighted to contribute to this worthy cause."
