Virtual Learning Solutions (VLS), developed in conjunction with Echelon Learning, is a library of 1,600 downloadable bite-size 'performance solutions' which are available on a just-in-time basis for both companies and at-home learners. VLS users will find a wide variety of content available including resources for self-development, essays and interviews with business figures, audits of current performance , digest articles and advice on developing skills in others. Most solutions are priced at between £2 and £5, with a number available free of charge. Solutions can be accessed on an individual basis, via credit card transaction, or on a team basis, by setting up a corporate account enabling members to download solutions via a password. VLS also offers users the means to record learning through a free Learning Log for the purpose of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) are among other professional bodies using Echelon's resource.
