Distributor reveals ten most popular learning resources

According to the learning resources distributor Open Mind, the top ten most popular learning resources with their customers over the past six months have been:

  • Business Essentials (E-learning)
  • 50 Lessons (DVD for senior managers)
  • Video Arts CD-ROM offer
  • Who Moved My Cheese? (Book)
  • Manual Handling - The Facts (Video)
  • Managing Staff Retention (DVD)
  • Fish! (Video, DVD and merchandise)
  • Managing Change Pocketbook
  • Raving Fans (Book)
  • Gung Ho! (Book)

"When it comes to learning media, books, CD-ROMs and videos are still the most popular methods with our customers, although many companies are now looking to replace their video libraries with DVDs and e-learning continues to grow," said Alun Harvey, Open Mind's managing director.

"Interestingly, this suggests that self-paced learning is still growing in popularity - although many videos and DVDs are also used by trainers, and the 'traditional' training course is still alive and well within 'UK plc'!"
