The BLA's Quality Mark is a scheme that aims to improve the impact of learning interventions on organisational performance for use across all sectors of learning & development. According to the BLA, it establishes a common set of quality indicators for all aspects of learning resource production, delivery and use to give confidence to purchasers and learners. Chair of the BLA Quality Forum, Lance Spraggons, said "I am delighted by the response to the new Quality Mark with a number of organisations registering before the official launch next week at WOLCE. For both Cranfield e-Learning and DWP to register is in my opinion a significant endorsement of the Quality Mark and their commitment to continuous improvement" Brian Merison, General Manager of the BLA added, "The profile of organisations signing up for the new Quality Mark shows the credibility of the process and the opportunities they have identified to add value to their existing operations". The BLA will be presenting a seminar on the 15th November at the World of Learning conference & exhibition, NEC Birmingham, to launch the revised Quality Mark. The seminar, 'The British Learning Association's New Quality Mark' will take place at 13.45 in the Product Demonstration Theatre and is free of charge to all attendees.
