Creative & Cultural Skills appoints marketing team

Creative & Cultural Skills, has announced the appointment of its new brand communication and marketing partners.

Following a tender process, the Sector Skills Council has appointed single suppliers for their strategy, design and web work.

Brand communications agency The Team will be involved in the strategic development of the marketing communications plan. Together Design will be looking after design requirements, while Reading Room, will be responsible for all web and new media work.

Creative & Cultural Skills will make a further announcement about preferred PR and events suppliers shortly.

Tom Bewick, chief executive of Creative & Cultural Skills said: "We are very excited about working with our new marketing team. These agencies will undoubtedly help us to raise the profile of employers and our work and therefore allow us to engage with industry across the UK.

"We have always maintained that we do not want to be seen as yet another Government initiative, and the enthusiasm, innovation, knowledge and experience of The Team, Together Design and Reading Room will mean that this is possible."

Julian Grice, MD of The Team said: "We're delighted to have been asked to continue the work of building Creative & Cultural Skills' campaign brand.

"We are determined to inspire employers in the creative sector to invest in skills and to champion the work of those employers that do, to ensure that creative industries remains at the heart of UK economic success."
