BLA event to explore export opportunities

The British Learning Association (BLA) is organising a one day learning event on 'International opportunities for learning & development', on Wednesday 22nd February 2006 at the DTI Conference Centre, London.

Government organisation UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) has identified the UK's learning & development sector as a centre of international expertise worthy of promoting to international markets.

Brian Merison, General Manager of the BLA said: "The aim of the event is to encourage many types of providers in the learning & development sector to engage with international export opportunities and to offer guidance in the support available from UKTI in the development of an overseas marketing strategy".

"We are delighted with the continuous support we have received from UKTI. The partnership of the two organisations has developed great strengths and we look forward to working with them in the future"

According to the BLA, delegates will have the chance to review case studies of those already active in international markets with discussion on the support available to help them take up export opportunities and achieve success.

The event is aimed at learning providers across all media and markets, e-learning content & systems providers in organisations, colleges and universities, educators, consultants, practitioners, RDAs and chambers of commerce, with an interest in developing international market opportunities and partnerships for their products and services.
