BLA appoints new Quality Forum members

The British Learning Association (BLA) has appointed five new members to its Quality Forum - the body which directs the operation of the BLA's Quality Mark scheme.

The newly appointed members are:

  • Mike Crabbe, Head of Training Operations - Aviation Training International Ltd
  • Mike Ditchburn, Managing Director - Bourne Training
  • Jeanne Goulding, Company Secretary - ASET
  • David Marsh, Head of Learning & Development (UK) - Barnardos
  • Dawn Ritchie, Marketing Manager - MyKnowledgeMap/Retail Academy

Lance Spraggons, Chair of the Quality Forum said, "Following on from the launch of the new BLA Quality Mark last November we have seen a number of changes in the membership of the Quality Forum.

"Whilst it is sad to see Alistair Morrison and Richard McGreevy leave after making a significant contribution to the Quality Mark, I am pleased that we have not only been able to replace them but we have appointed a further three members."

Spraggons added:, "The recent advert for new members, created a lot of interest and I am sure that the new appointments will give us a better representation across the sectors and will help us to move the Quality Mark forward. I would personally like to thank the outgoing members and to welcome the new members".

The newly appointed members will attend their first Quality Forum meeting later this month.
