The event will take place at the Park Plaza Hotel, Greyfriars Road, Cardiff on 19 March 2008. John Smith, GoSkills' PCV driver training adviser, said: "This information briefing for bus and coach operators in Wales is the latest in a series of GoSkills' industry events being run ahead of the CPC implementation date later this year. "The briefing will follow the launch of Routes to Progress - GoSkills' Sector Skills Agreement for Wales - which is also being held at the Park Plaza Hotel." GoSkills says the benefits of the PCV Driver CPC will include improvements in the overall quality of employees available to the bus and coach industries, an increase in road safety as well as the promotion of a more professional image, attracting more people to drive buses and coaches for a living.
