Leadership Trust helps charities raise over £40,000

Last year Paul K Winter, the Chief Executive of The Leadership Trust, challenged his staff to raise money and support charities in the local community.

With funds of £1000 per group to start their projects, eight teams were aiming to make as much money as possible for their chosen charity.

Staff offered wide-ranging support depending on the charities' needs including sponsorship, updating playground facilities and improving habitats for butterflies and dormice.

The winning group helped St Michael's Hospice raise over £36,000 by sponsoring their Venus Challenge midnight walk last September. Staff from The Leadership Trust also took part in the event either as walkers or marshals.
